Lua has a debug API, so I'm not sure I understand the question. Have you had some particular problem debugging lua scripts?

No, i'm still building the core C# code for it, so i'm just researching for now. Thank you very much.

Speaking of Lua, Mike Pall has just released a JIT compiler for it, which may be of interest if you plan on using it in places where performance matters.
