|Greetings, all! Didn't know about this place until KaVir posted on my thread over at TMC.
I'll not copy and paste everything again, and if you want to see the full, original post, it's at TMC at http://www.mudconnect.com/discuss/discuss.cgi?mode=MSG&area=coders&message=26000
I've just released an opensource, PHP-based MUD lib and sample client implementing WebSockets from HTML 5 (meaning only Google Chrome supports it right now). I'll be adding a more functional, but still plugin-free, client in a day or two. It also supports (as in right now) telnet connections and separate handling for those clients on the same server.
The codebase website is at http://www.phudbase.com with links to the demo and Google Code project. You can also telnet in to the server at phudbase.com:12345 (there's no initial greeting, so just type a character name to play).
Also, seems like there are a few Air Force folks running around -- I'm separating as a 1st Lt in about two weeks!
Let me know what you think of PHudBase!
