Here's another one, inspired by a post on the FutureMUD forums, where they seem to be implementing a lot of developer toys.

Feature 11: Differently sized equipment

Description: Items and characters have different sizes, and you can only wear equipment if it fits (depending on how stretchy the item is).

The theory: Realism!

In practice: Players can't use most of the loot they find.

Proposed solution: Realism shouldn't come at the expense of fun. Equipment sizes can be glossed over, or used for cosmetics for dynamic object descriptions, but don't add features if all they do is make the game frustrating.
