I've just been reading about Google's new blog search and I was wondering if anybody knows of any good MUD related ones?
Blogs throwing about some design ideas might make for a good read. I'll post any good ones I find here. |

old thread, I know... I just wanted to point out that there's a new blog over at www.gamethoughts.net. It aims to provide advice for how to think about game design, providing practical examples as well as theory. The idea is that it will be general, but as one of the (currently two) writers, I know I have a vested interest in MUDs and MMOs, and will surely have some articles specific for those topics (a couple already up). I suspect people who read mudlab will enjoy what the articles and podcasts talk about. |

thanks Splork, some good reading there.
I wanted to point out that http://bc-dev.net (developer of FMud, Maiden Desmodus) has some interesting things on muds fairly often.
Also http://posted-stuff.blogspot.com/ has some good stuff. He combed through and synopsized much of the mud newsgroups a while back. |

There's also a mudding reddit. Not much posted there, or many members for that matter. But maybe something can be done with that. |
