I just read this rather interesting article, "How To Make A Game With ‘PvP Done Right’", and found myself agreeing with quite a few of the points:

I've got to say though, it does paint a pretty bleak picture of PK muds! I don't think the situation is as bad as the author makes out, but it's some interesting food for thought. |
